Came with 2 brushes that were identical but it was the smaller ones and I bought this set for the bigger ones so it's no big deal to me. Super soft material, will definately clean the brushes before using them, they came well packaged and each big brush had a netted protective covering on it plus wrapped in plastic. They're so soft like bunny fur and well worth the price quality wise, love the rose gold finish too! Arrived within a week and a half
